Dr.
Sharpe is pleased to announce the
opening of his new practice on the
Gold Coast after a 1 year absence
following further advanced
endovascular specialist training
in Newcastle NSW, Leipzig Germany
and Dallas USA.
A
consultant cardiologist for 12
years on the Gold Coast, Dr.
Sharpe resigned from the Gold
Coast Heart Centre in December
2007 to pursue further studies
returning with a vision- to create
a high quality, holistic and all
encompassing cardiovascular
practice.
Dr.
Sharpe has one of the largest
carotid stenting experiences in
the country having performed over
200 fully audited procedures with
excellent results which have been
well within internationally
accepted outcome guidelines.

For the attention of Multiple Sclerosis Patients
Recently the Multiple Sclerosis Network of Care – North Coast, NSW have posted the details of Sharpe Cardiology as a potential service provider for CCSVI screening.
This practice can provide this service as per Dr Zamboni’s protocol and treatment for the condition via venoplasty can be provided.
However, this practice cautions all patients that the improvement in your condition can not be guaranteed, as it is our view that further studies need to be undertaken before this theory can be embraced and offered as a standard therapy for Multiple Sclerosis patients.
