Associate Professor Ross Sharpe is an Interventional Cardiologist and Endovascular Surgeon who is the Medical Director of Cardio Remedy, Coastal Heart and Vascular, Country Hearts and Echo, and PFO Research Foundation Australia.


Through his private practices, Dr Sharpe provides holistic, head-to-toe cardiovascular services in a caring, organised and structured manner, considering the patients’ primary complaint in the context of other medical, psychological and social issues.


Dr Sharpe’s research into PFO and its link to other disease processes including stroke, cognitive decline and inflammation has seen him present internationally and nationally on the cure of migraine with aura (classic migraine).


He has performed over 700 PFO and Atrial Septal Defect closures and supervises the work of other cardiologists performing the procedure.
